With around 750 photos taken between 2019 and 2024 across Ukraine, Greece, Italy, Poland, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, Ukrainian artist @miki.mike.665 explores the variety of obscene post-folklore graffiti. 


Images of penises may appear straightforward—almost simplistic or playful. Yet, considering the geographic and historical scope of the imagery, alongside the gaps in sexual education and enduring societal taboos around sexuality, the subject gains contemporary relevance. With EUROPENIS, the artist presents the penis as a visual sign that reveals societal imbalance and highlights the enduring patriarchal structures shaping culture.
